The Mavericks were up eight with under 7 minutes remaining in the third quarter, but the Lakers closed the period on a 20-6 run and took a six-point advantage into the fourth as LA beat Dallas 107-97.<br /><br />Lakers forward Brandon Ingram scored a game-high 29 points to go along with a game-high-tying six assists and two steals and point guard Lonzo Ball had 21 points seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in the win Monday night.<br /><br />With the loss, the Mavericks moved to 15-4 at home this season. Dallas entered tonight having won 13 of its previous 14 games at American Airlines Center. <br /><br />Mavericks rookie guard/forward Luka Doncic tallied a team-high 27 points to go along with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. It marked his 21st game with 20-or-more points this season. Doncic’s 21 20-point efforts are already the third-most 20-point games by a Mavericks rookie in franchise history. Only Jay Vincent and Jamal Mashburn have produced more. <br />
